Phenomenal!
Visted on a cold dry day, end of Feb. They don't offer any NHS or online discounts so don't bother trying. They occasionally have offers on their website for out of season tickets.
The good
OPTIONAL GIFT SHOP - the only theme/day out park I've been to that doesn't force you into their gift shop to buy their overpriced toot or risk having a tantruming child ruining the day.
TRANQUIL BOAT RIDE - very nice boat ride
LOTS MORE TO DO - crafts and den BUILDING and tow mazes
ONLY ONE ATTRACTION WAS CLOSED - Legoland or roarr might have 5-10 rides closed out of season
CHEAP GOOD HEALTHY BASIC FOOD - pasta was about £6 or bring a picnic
NO HIDDEN COSTS - expensive to get in but no hidden charges
The bad
I'd imagine a rainy day would diminish the experience.
Other
Outdoor clothing recommended - wellies or hiking shoes

Me and my little (and not so little) ones LOVE BeWILDerwood! Even in cloudy or drizzly weather it is well worth going. What I love best is that both adults & children can enjoy most of the activities together which is a rare thing to find ❤️

This place is awesome!!!!!! You pay to get in and then there’s no hard sell inside. You even have to go out of your way to go through the gift shop!
Our kids loved it when they were 3 and 5 and this time they were 6 and 9 and the eldest still loved it

Had a great time. Only had to pay for one entry for a party of 3 over the half term.

Had a brilliant day out with the family over the half term. The tickets were half price which was a nice surprise. We especially enjoyed the boat trip along the river with our guide Ryan. He made it such fun for the little ones and he told the little stories with such enthusiasm like it was the first time which is very difficult to do. He found out it was my bday and told some if the people across the bridge who burst into HB song. Thankyou Ryan you made my day. The kids loved all the climbing. And there were plenty of places to eat lunch and snacks. Great day out and we’ll be back.

What an amazing place. We started the day with the boat ride as a family of 11! Ryan was our captain and he literally made our day. Such a funny man. It was my Mums birthday and he made a huge effort to celebrate it. We laughed until we ached. Natalie was another captain who joined in the fun, making the ride magical for everyone. Thank you guys.
The rest of the day was equally as wonderful . So much for the whole family to do. Lots of picnic tables for pit stops and something for everyone to enjoy. Adults are able to enjoy the play areas too, which of course we did.
Such a great day out. I highly recommend it to anyone of all ages.

Disappointed 😞
Iv been looking forward to coming here with my two children 7 & 5. So we took advantage of the buy one get one free. I expected it to be busy as it half term and a great offer however I feel it was way to overcrowded, like there was no ticket limits.
When we arrived we at 10.15 we were packed almost right at the back of car park, we queued for 25 minutes to get it, when we got to the desk it was very rushed and no "sorry for waiting" or "enjoyed your visit".
When we made it in; it was very very busy and quite overwhelming. There were queues to get on almost everything... and the boat... Well we waited for 30 minutes and didn't seem to move anywhere.
I feel like previous reviews it is just and overpriced climbing frame!!

Being 'a local' bewilderwood was always on my list to do since having children, so we took advantage of the half price February half term offer. We did have to pay £20 for our 2 year old because he is just over 92cm which seemed quite unfair as he is unable to do most of the equipment as is a falls risk himself. Being 32 weeks pregnant I took advantage of the free ticket if you bring along proof with paperwork. We arrived an hour after the park opened but had to queue for 30 minutes, some of the most painful 30 minutes of my life with a 2 and 5 year old. When you have pre booked tickets this seems totally unacceptable. Having frequented Peppa pig world/Legoland/Alton towers these parks are so much better organised at getting you in, appreciating how it is with young children. No apology was given when we got to the front, instead directed to another booth. The first part of the park feels very claustrophobic as you are pushed along by hoards of crowds trying to get to the main attractions as quick as possible. We decided to stop for lunch fairly soon as the queues for all the slides/boats were huge. Alas there was nowhere to sit as all the benches were full, not much fun when you are heavily pregnant. We looked at the queue for the boat 3 times during our time and was always back to the 1 hour point.
In summary I think the park just had too many people admitted, we could not enjoy it with little ones with too much queuing. The facilities look good if you can get anywhere near them.

Disappointed. Just left bewilderwood and was really excited to visit but so disappointed. It was utter chaos. Needs to have strict timed entry. An hour and 45 minutes to get the boat at the beginning as we were told the queue would be even worse at the end?! Parents just let their kids go with no parenting in sight. Obviously not the parks fault but such awful patrons pushing in past obvious queues and being rude. Really ruined it. It was utter chaos and our 5 year old was so looking forward to exploring and was instead met with being pushed and shoved and told he couldn't go in certain parts by the other kids. Just horrid. The toilets weren't great but to be expected with that amount of people. Not enough places to sit for food or in general. Overall had really high hopes and sad to say it did not live up to expectations.

Came here yesterday, not even the. Freezing cold weather let us down. There is enough to do and to keep you moving. The queue or the boat was the only thing we stayed still for. But that didn't take too long. It was a great day out with the kids. We all enjoyed it. Had a great time. I think I did my most steps this year so far. So prepare for a lot of walking. (You won't notice it though).

Bewilderwood: A Magical Woodland Adventure for the Whole Family
If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable family day out, look no further than Bewilderwood in Norfolk. We recently spent a summer holiday weekend there and had an absolutely fantastic time.
From the moment we arrived, we were transported to a whimsical world of enchanting characters, towering treehouses, and thrilling adventures. The kids were immediately captivated by the imaginative play areas, from the towering Sky Maze to the exhilarating Slippery Slopes. They loved exploring every nook and cranny, climbing through the rope bridges, and whizzing down the slides.
But Bewilderwood isn't just for kids. The adults had just as much fun exploring the woodland trails, getting lost in the maze, and even braving some of the bigger slides (don't worry, there are plenty of areas where you can relax and watch the kids play).
What sets Bewilderwood apart is its attention to detail and immersive storytelling. The park is based on the popular children's books by Tom Blofeld, and the characters and stories are brought to life throughout the park. The staff are all incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, and they do a great job of creating a magical atmosphere.
We also appreciated the variety of activities on offer. In addition to the play areas, there are storytelling sessions, craft workshops, and even a boat trip through the woods. There's something for everyone to enjoy, no matter their age or interests.
Overall, our weekend at Bewilderwood was an unforgettable experience. It's the perfect place to let your imagination run wild and create lasting memories with your family. We can't wait to go back!
Here are some of the things we loved about Bewilderwood:
* Imaginative play areas: The kids were never bored, with so many different areas to explore and play in.
* Beautiful woodland setting: The park is set in a stunning 70-acre woodland, providing a natural and enchanting backdrop.
* Engaging storytelling: The characters and stories from the books are brought to life throughout the park.
* Variety of activities: There's something for everyone to enjoy, from play areas to storytelling sessions to boat trips.
* Friendly and enthusiastic staff: The staff go above and beyond to create a magical experience for visitors.
If you're looking for a fun-filled family day out, Bewilderwood is definitely worth a visit. We highly recommend it!

Loved it! Travelled quite a bit to get there, but so much to do and the children loved it, so much climbing, sliding and running around to be done. Plus a little boat ride. Kept the children busy, using up their constant, never ending energy supply! Ready for a long travel home. Will definitely come back again.

Over priced for what it is! how can a family of 4 on a low income afford to go here, so basically these places like this are just for the middle classes and upper classes who can afford to waste money
